It is easy for you to build a beautiful and useful tag cloud for your Joomla website within few minutes with the help of Easytagcloud 2.1.But I recommend you read this documentation because Easytagcloud 2.1 provide many parameters for you to handle your tag cloud well.

Parameters
Category/Exclude Category
It is the difference.In Joomla 1.6 there are two lists to select,while in Joomla 1.5 there are two input box to input the category ID.
Some people always ask why no tag show after they installed the module,please note: Easytagcloud get the tags from the meta keywords in your articles,the tags wouldn't show if there is no meta keyword.If you want to get the tags from some specific categories instead of all categories,Category/Exclude Category would be helpful,if leave blank in Category,the module will get the tags from all categories.
Update interval
Easytagcloud is efficient because it only get tags from your database at intervals,not every time you open the page.Here you can set the update interval,6 hours is enough for most websites.
Max number of the tags
Maybe you do not want to display too many tags in your page,it is possible to set the limit number here.
Max font size of the tags/Min font size of the tags
Easytagcloud calculate the font size for the tags base on the frequency,in order to avoid the "huge tags" or the "tiny tags",you need to set the max and min font size,please note,the unit is em not px.
Font size coefficient
It is a special coefficient to adjust the font size,the font size will be bigger if increase the coefficient,please note:the font size is limited by Max font size of the tags/Min font size of the tags at the same time too.Look at the following two images,the tags look quite different when we set the coefficient from 10 to 20.
Tags color
Input the color you like in hex,the tags would be colorful.Have no idea to the hex code ? Look our Color Table in Hexand get the hex code of your favorite color!
Show underline for tags/Show underline for tags when mouse hover
Set them if want show underline for tags or show underline when mouse hover over the tags.
Tags align
Set the text align for the tags,the snapshots below show that the tag cloud change when select different options.
Tags align:Left Tags align:Justify
Tags align:Right Tags align:Center
Vertical space and Horizontal space
These two parameters are used to adjust the space between tags.
Search type
It is enable to select the exact search or the broad search.For example,if I click on the tag “Joomla Tonight”,exact search will only display the content include the phrase while the broad search will display all the content include the word “Joomla” or “Tonight”.
Target of the link of tags
It is enable to select to let the search results display in a new window or in the same window.
Colorful tags
If enable this parameter,Easytagcloud will set a random color for each tag and make tag cloud colorful.
Blacklist
The blacklist is used to block the tags that unwilling to display,separate each tags in the blacklist with a comma.
Module class suffix
It is helpful if you want to control the display of the module by CSS sheet.

I have publiched two modules in the same page, they have to display differents tags for differents category, but I can see only a cloud in the same moment, I have to disable this one to see the other category cloud...
How can I do to make the two clouds visible at the same time!?

I'm wondering if would be possible to merge the tagCanvas (http://www.goat1000.com/tagcanvas.php) with your module for enabling the 3D tag cloud.
Could be interesting, IMHO.

how to View tags as random selection from database

But I have this problem...when I put my mouse over the generated tags,it says the articles that I will find when I click that tag; when I finally click it, the search page will open with another tag, usually one that was not written in the module!!!
It seemed a conflict with Joomfish plugins Search - Jfsomething but, when I deactivated them, I still find the same error!!
Curious thing: Also if the tags displayed in the search results are incorrect, the module works fine(e.g. I click on tag "paolino", the search page give me the "fabietto" result instead, but the lists of articles found have really the exact word "fabietto" inside them!!!)
I do hope this will be fixed in near future. Until then I will keep on looking for an extension which can target search with keywords - and find correct content.
I'm struggeling with the links from the tag cloud, at the bottom of each page from the website. When I click on a word in the tag cloud, I get an general search page, but the search page does not have a banner, like I have adjusted at all the other pages. I do not know how I can add a banner at the search page.

I installed Easytagcloud on two different websites, in one website it works fine, but in the other site, when I click on the tag, I get zero search results, it links to no article. What should I do?

The things are good. but he problem is while mouse over the particular word like joomla its showing a tool tip 3 related articles but after click over there its going to search module that time more no of articles are coming. so how to solve this issue

I have an easytagcloud for each category and each module loads tags from that category
My problem is it keeps loading the same category for all the modules.
Is this something to do with the interval cache? Could the module use joomla's native caching instead so a seperate cache is created for each module?

I have the same problem: 2 instances of easytagcloud show the same keywords for different categories. Can anyone help?
I installed the EasyTagCloud and all seems well, it's just that even with the default settings the keywords are all displayed with the same height. I'm using Joomla 1.7 and the Enox-GT template*. Do i do something wrong or is this caused by the template?

This seems like a great extension but I can't get it to work.
I have keywords in my contents but the tags are not showing. The only thing that is showing is your footer. The keywords are written in the SEO parameterson the side. I am using Joomla 1.5.25 with SEF patch for 1.5.25 from joomlatwork.com . Does using an sef patch have a problem with using this cool extension?
Please advise.
